AhlulBayt News Agency:The visit was marked by meaningful interactions with the seminary’s director, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Syed Ahmad Ali Abedi, who is also the representative of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani in India.
During his tour of the seminary, Hujjat al-Islam Hosseini expressed his appreciation for the dedicated efforts of the seminary's management and teaching staff. He praised their commitment to nurturing students in both religious education and spiritual development.
Addressing the students, he emphasized the value of persistent effort in acquiring Islamic knowledge. He reminded them that the Prophets and Imams (peace be upon them) were sent to teach humanity how to live lives of dignity and purpose.
Citing the well-known Prophetic tradition —"Bind knowledge by writing it down" — he encouraged students to develop the habit of carefully recording their teachers' lessons. “Knowledge is like a wild creature,” he explained. “If not restrained, it escapes. As the narration goes, knowledge is wild; whoever abandons it, it flees from them.”
He further advised students to establish a strong academic foundation locally before pursuing advanced religious education in major centers of learning such as Qom and Najaf.
The visit underscored growing collaboration between Indian religious institutions and international centers of Shi’a scholarship, highlighting a shared commitment to strengthening Islamic education and nurturing future scholars.
